I used to go to the GPs in the late 70’s, early 80s. Camping over at Silverstone. Here are some pics from 1983. (Kenny Roberts Won- Bazz came 9th) We camped over and took pliers with us to break into the paddocks and as you can see we got close to the main man himself.

You can also see my Suzuki X7 which I modelled around Barry, off course the FZ1 is a million miles from the X7. Fortunately I came off the X7 a few times, tyres suspension and handling are so far advanced now.

Here are a few pictures I found. We were actually there in 1982 when he ran into the back of that bike.
